Haitian Jistis (“Justice”) is not only blind, but the balance between right and wrong weighs on her head.
Tell Roman-derived Lady Justice, who holds her scale in her hands, to try that and see how much her followers’ immorality has cost humankind. And that’s why Westerners like to place her scale down and away from eye-level: they can leave proper judgment and moral consequences to someone else.
